Oh, what the heck. I'll jump onto the rumor mill train today. There's been buzz recently about the next generation Kindle from Amazon (we're currently on the 3rd generation) and now rumors are beginning to swirl about there being a potential stylus added to the new device. Maybe it's just me, but with the popularity of touchpads like iPad, a stylus feels a bit retro, but you never know.
Adding fuel to the Kindle stylus fire, PC World and Time.com are reporting on Amazon's registration of a few domain names including Kindlescribe.com. With a huge chunk of the ereader market already in their hands, whatever Amazon decides to release for the Kindle 4 will undoubtedly have an impact on the whole area although personally, I'd prefer it if the Kindle went more in the direction of the Nook, retaining black and white eInk, but adding a touch screen requiring only finger use, but then again, who knows? As publishers and editors are fond of saying, tastes vary by market.
